The Pilot Program

The Disabled Pole Dancers Pilot Program is an access focused project that will increase diversity in the pole dance community by centering access needs during the creation of programming. This project will additionally prioritise LGBTQIA+ dancers and Sex Workers who wish to express their uniqueness through movement. The program will be an in person/online hybrid and include 1:1 mentorship, group training, workshops, seminars and an end of year showcase for disabled dancers. The program will be conducted by peers with qualifications in their field alongside lived experienced dancers, trainers and arts workers. The pilot program will be a platform for access focused exploration and celebration of our uniqueness and our intersecting experiences to forge new pathways together.
